Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal information kpics.com collects, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and the choices you have.
Who is responsible

What we collect
When you create an account and sign in
- Your email address. We use it to sign you in with a one-time code or link (we do not use passwords) and to send receipts.
- Sign-in records kept by our sign-in service, such as when you signed in and your active sessions.
- A security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs when you ask for a sign-in code. It uses information from your browser and connection, including your IP address, to tell people from bots.
When you buy a copy
- Your order: which set, the price and currency, the date and time, your copy number, the version of the terms you accepted and when you accepted them.
- Payment records: whether and when your payment succeeded, and any refunds or disputes. Our payment provider, Stripe, collects your card or payment details and billing information on its own checkout page. We never receive your full card number. We receive a Stripe customer reference and payment references so we can match payments to orders.
- Copies of the payment notifications Stripe sends us about your orders. These can include your email address and billing details.
When you download
- Records of each download: which part, when, how much was sent and whether it finished. We use these to run downloads, resume them and investigate problems. We do not store your IP address with these records.
When you browse
- Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
- We remember your light or dark theme choice in your own browser.
When you contact us
- Your message and email address, and anything you choose to include.
We do not collect your name, postal address or phone number ourselves, and we do not buy information about you from others.
Why we use it
- To create and secure your account and sign you in.
- To take payment, complete your order, and give you access to your downloads.
- To send receipts and service messages about your orders and account. We do not send marketing email.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, including bot sign-ups and card testing.
- To handle refunds, disputes and support requests.
- To keep accounting and tax records.
- To show honest availability figures ("copies left", "last purchased"). These figures never identify any buyer.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run parts of kpics.com for us, and only what each one needs:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or others' safety, or to a buyer of the business if KPICS, LLC is ever sold (the new owner would be bound by this notice).
We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We do not use it to train AI, and we do not send it to AI services.
Other buyers never see who you are. The listing page shows only when the most recent purchase happened, never who made it.
Cookies and similar technology
We use only what the site needs to work:
- a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in, for up to 30 days;
- a short-lived cookie that protects a sign-in in progress;
- your theme choice, stored in your browser;
- Cloudflare Turnstile, which may use browser storage to perform its security check.
We use no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics. Stripe's checkout page, which is on Stripe's own site, uses its own cookies under Stripe's privacy policy.

Deleting your account
You can delete your account from Your data in your account settings. When you do:
- your email address is removed from your kpics account and the account is closed; this cannot be undone;
- your sign-in account is deleted and you are signed out on every device;
- your access to downloads ends, even if a download window is still open;
- your purchase, payment and refund records are kept for accounting and tax, linked to the closed account rather than to your email; Stripe keeps its own records of your payments, including your email address;
- copies of payment notifications can still contain your email address until they are cleaned 90 days after they arrived;
- the email service that sent your receipts, and the sign-in service's own logs, may keep your email address until their own retention periods end;
- the copies you bought stay counted in each edition and are never sold again.
You cannot delete your account while a checkout is still open. Wait for it to finish or expire, then try again.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about your account, or ask us to correct it, by emailing privacy@kpics.com from the address you sign in with. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as to object to some uses or to complain to a data protection authority. We will answer requests within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep information the law requires us to keep.
Security
Payments are handled on Stripe's secure checkout. The site uses HTTPS throughout, sign-in uses one-time codes instead of passwords, and access to your downloads is checked on our server every time. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Where your information is processed
KPICS, LLC is in the United States, and our providers process information in the United States and other countries. If you live elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in those countries.
Children
You must be at least 13 to create an account or buy, and if you are under 18 you need the consent of a parent or guardian. If we learn that we hold information about a child under 13, we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this notice, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. For important changes, we will also tell account holders by email.
